My visit to Bangkok Auto Salon-pics

Postby madS13 » Sun Jun 24, 2012 9:27 pm

Just got back from Thailand and visiting the Thailand Auto Salon. Didn't know what to expect and its more high class new cars than we have in the salon's here but some amazing cars like the GReddy R35 GTR Skyline and the Top Secret r35 GTR from Japan, as well as the T86 in all its forms. T86 is a bit crap in factory form but sexy az in the Lexus and TRD edition and running a 2L boxer engine.

Utes running 2JZ's are massive there for drag racing and there were quite a few crazy RB26 set-ups.

Pic uploads on here are crap so open link in my Facebook

There wasn't many street cars, mainly new cars like Ferrari's and BMW's and Toyota launching the T86 (the new AE86 levin). GTR's in all forms running turbos big enough to eat seagulls and the drag utes with RB26's and 2jz's. They use utes because they are light and they can tub them easy and run wheels 1 meter wide so traction isn't lost. Good idea really. Was an amazing show all round though.
